As a supporter of Wisconsin Lakes, you know that the organization is uniquely placed to amplify the voices of the thousands of lake users, supporters, and property owners from across the state.
Throughout our history, one of our highest priorities has been to assist lake organizations and individuals in meeting the challenges our lakes face. In 2026, we will continue to do just that. How? Here are just a few ways:
- Advocating for meaningful statewide and local standards to manage impacts from wakesports that create damaging enhanced wakes
- Working to ensure all watercraft in Wisconsin meet the state’s aquatic invasive species transport laws
- Continuing efforts to pass significant improvements to lake district laws
- Working with legislators and DNR to pass sound, science-based legislation for our lakes
- Providing education and technical services to our member lake organizations
The financial support of our members and supporters helps to make this all possible. Please consider making a year-end contribution today .
And a personal, heartfelt thank you for all you do for our lakes. From volunteering with your local organization, to attending events like the Wisconsin Lakes & Rivers Convention, to being passionate advocates on issues like the impacts of wakesports, you all make this state’s waters cleaner, safer, and protected.
On behalf of myself and our board of directors here Wisconsin Lakes, we very much look forward to the annual meeting and working with you for a thriving 2026!
