The theme for the 2025 Conservation Poster Contest this year was “Home is where the Habitat
is”. The poster contest was open to kindergarten through 12th grade students, and posters
were evaluated on the following criteria: conservation message, visual effectiveness, originality,
universal appeal, and individual artwork. The students that took 1 st Place at the local level
advanced to the area contest that was hosted in Portage County this year. The 1 st place winners
that advanced to the area contest are Ruby Smith (grades 4-6), Sawyer Brokmeier (grades 7-
9), and Lindsey Mihalko (grades 10-12)! Congratulations to all!
