Once again, we are going to have our Annual Native Plant Sale! Native plants are a great way to attract birds, butterflies, and bees to your property. They can also help to stop erosion and sediment loss on shorelines. Consider planting native plants this summer instead of ornamental plants!
A list of plants and an order form can be found a few different ways:
- On our Facebook Page: Forest County Land & Water Conservation.
- You can email us at and we’ll get you the flyer and order form.
- We also put 500 inserts into this week’s paper, so you may have gotten one.
This year we are accepting cash or check for your orders. Order forms and money can be dropped off at the Zoning office or mailed to us at:
Forest County Land & Water
200 E. Madison St
Crandon, WI 54520
Orders need to be in to our office by Monday, April 6th, so we can get them to our greenhouse. Orders will be available for pick-up on Friday, May 29th from 9:00 am – 3:00 pm on the Forest County Courthouse Square near the Tank. You can park across from the Methodist Church.
Our goal is to raise enough funds to sponsor a scholarship or two for the Wisconsin Youth Conservation Camps this summer. There is a middle school camp and a high school camp. If we raise enough funds, keep your eye out for scholarship information to come!
